@Nazraen: There was a woman that got married to a roller coaster within the last few weeks.

@battra92: it is still depressing, from a human point of view... where you spent x years of your entire lifespan making what can fit in a box.

@mattigus: Kotaku is a news aggregator, they ... wait a minute ... aggregate news, good or bad. It doesn't necesarrily mean they support it. Though I think a Mr. Frucci might, perchance?

@cjlopez: how dare you forget Zoey from L4D

@ssoltero: These are preventable deaths, however. With something as simple as a strap holding the base or holding the TV to a base; I should think <20$ in securing material is hardly worth a life.

@Scorpi: It takes awhile to learn all the characters and also requires 1) playing more advanced players 2) watching advanced players play via replays 3) read strategies (itemization is HUGE)that being said, PSR limits 1, no replays limit 2 (I suppose you could watch dota replays) and 3, if you know the correlating

@TSFMfest: My sentiments exactly. Unfortunately it wasn't until they introduced phasing that you felt like you were doing anything to the world... instead of just turning in 10 pelts for 50 silver. But with phasing, the terrain changes as soon as you return with the report of a kill, or something. And that one

@tetracycloide: I think either way you spin it though, people commenting on this site really can't call others sad and pathetic, it is a slippery slope afterall: we're all gamers.

@kearneybobs: but L4D2 was just on sale for $30 from Dell, I don't see what could stop them from 1 uping Dell.

@(Zombie) D Mitsuki, Gotta have guts kid!: I recall reading a story about the beginnings of Spielberg. How he simply walked onto sets as a kid (they didn't stop him) and he sat around watching directors/film makers work.

@NightWatch: Pretty much, nowadays you pay for 4 years of experience and a piece of paper. Lolwut Edumacation?

@Golgari: how does someone misquote themselves on somethign they TYPED. You sir deserve fail of the day award. And possibly a cookie, laced with something. Not sure what yet, I'll see what I can get my hands on in the lab today!

@Manuel Calavera, Reaper Supreme: I'd have to agree. I remember pastries and stuff before that look a whole lot more similar (actually the I phone cake comes to mind, yes yes I just got gizmodo in your kotaku). A for effort I suppose.

@biggerx: I think it's just the OCD aspect that it takes from Diablo.

@MrGOH: It's very similiar, but slightly off. So are a lot of the other musical scores and sounds. Diablo 1 definately highlighted about 3 years of my life :p

@RockyRan: It's not like playing real sports doesn't come with its own set of injuries.

@Gruntybreath: They have, I think the Jaguar was supposed to beat out at the time SNES and Sega Genesis... but it failed miserably.
