Yea!
I'm actually the complete opposite. I much rather see films like Transformers in the theater then at home. While movies like the King's speech and True Grit were much more enjoyable in my home theater.
I could care less for most "Phone" games. I happily enjoy playing Chrono Trigger, Sonic, FFVI and VII, and so on with my Droid X.
I wouldnt say just better textures is what the PC has going for it. The lighting draw distance and overall look of the game easily trump the console versions on extreme even though its dx9. Im kinda in the middle right now. Game looks gorgeous and runs flawless 60fps solid on my sli gtx 460's at 1920x1080 on extreme…

Thing is CPU's can stay much more current with newer cards. You can probably go a few generation GPU upgrades before having to upgrade your cpu depending on if it was high end when you purchased it. Im pretty sure ill go through a gen or two of cards upgraded from my current two 460's before I need to upgrade my six…

Yea I just built a similar system, though I did reuse my HDD'S, Case, PSU, and OS.
