You don’t have to hate people for anything is the point. You can punish people who break the law, you can condemn people’s actions. It’s okay to feel hate, but it’s not okay to let it affect other people.

No, he’s a hateful person who may not personally harm anyone, but may incite other people to do harm to people. That’s not even close to acceptable. It was just a general comment about hate and being accepting of people not just tolerant. But it is funny how people like to twist things.
