$90 is still just way too much for a fan. For around $80 you can pick up a cheap small air conditioning unit that would be vastly superior.

My Apartment Also has an AC in the living room, with a stiflingly hot bedroom - so instead of a $90 fan I picked up a $70 5000BTU window air conditioning unit. That solved the problem.
