I'm trying to avoid those (and others with equally unlikely-but-right-wing-likes-it-so-I-go-with-it theories) lately, they're causing me to want to punch something several times a day, and that can't be healthy

I know what "risk of death means" but it still makes me giggle and think of those jokes. I think they should think of a metric that sounds less funny
You can put twice as much and be inmortal!
Hmm... wrong thread?
You know, you may be right. Or you may be wrong. Hell, you may be an elephant for all I know.
Just only until they discover beginning walking so early kills, that walking kills, and that being alive for the rest of your live kills. Actually, I'm pretty sure of the last one, they don't need to discover it.
wasn't the Happy Camper Pack Leader in Underworld too, with the same hair, beard, forehead, lycanthropy and possibly name?
I really liked Jessica when she was just a sweet girl who was overwhelmed by everything. Now I wouldn't miss her if she happened to walk into the Sun. I don't like one bit how that character has evolved.
He does act different, he tends to say "fuck this" and "fuck this shit" more often. "fuck this shit" was the best line in the episode (and possibly the season). Not the series though, I'm missing the extra-dumb Jason from the fellowship of the sun arc, he was hillarious
Lafayette was already my favorite character, but if he weren't he'd be after this (I can't believe it isn't a pro). If I ever see a ghost I'm going to say "fuck this shit" and just walk away
With the smoking, I know, there are those charts that tells you how long after you quit your BP gets backs to normal, but aren't there possible hormonal problems you get from overweight, that don't get back to normal after you lose weight? A friend of mine had some, and his doctor told him to lose weight ASAP or he…

Yeah, see the comic in the my first comment if you didn't. BTW, Welcome to the comment section
Thanks for the input, it may well be that something else that is highly correlated with high BMI causes hypertension, or that CMV + overeating causes hypertension, or that...
Those factors are supposed to cause hypertension, but that doesn't mean just removing them after the fact will have the same effect as not having done it at all. Think about smoking and lung cancer.
I know I'm looking like an asshole for doing this twice in 24h, but this: In 95% of all cases of hypertension - a category known as essential hypertension - there is no medically recognized cause at all. means there's not one cause to it, but a conglomerate of factors as opposed to secondary hypertension, in which…
Saying you don't know when you don't know is basic for the scientific method. And not saying "this guy says so and he's pretty smart so he must be right" is, too. I'm not saying it's not a factor, I'm saying that my real world experience tells me you can surely dig up studies on other factors and find much higher…
This study tested that one variable that was already known made someone more attractive, had less effect under the effects of alcohol. I'm not a fucking anti-science fundy, I'm a fucking scientist. This study proves an efect on a variable that only has any significance once you ignore a fuckload of other variables.…
take the most symetrical person you can find, add them 20 kilos and put them on the side to a less symetrical one, thin, with big eyes/thick lips and/or a straight nose and see where symmetry takes you.
Another day, another bullshit study that takes one very small part of an aspect of the human experience and "explains" the whole aspect with it.
