Except that any rotation movement is caused by a centripetal acceleration and anyone "feels" a centrifugal acceleration when seen from inside the rotating frame of reference. Those guys are not confused at all

It's only hopeless if their practitioners start studying a bit more of the scientific method and applying it, and start testing their beautiful models with actual subjects and rejecting them if people don't act the way they predict

the problem is getting a grant to repeat the test in two other different areas and cultures, which probably requires that the first test "points to...". And the negative result a scientist can see as useful, a non-scientist will probably see as a huge waste of time and money
