I will always keep movies, tv shows however I will delete if I know I wont want to watch it again. It's funny because I would assume that as technology advanced, file sizes would get smaller. But in fact files are just getting bigger along with storage. before it was avi and mp3, now its FLAC and MKV.

Yeah that may be a solution in the future. I'll see how I get on with my first Synology NAS device and if everything runs smoothly then I might consider a ripping out these older drives and putting it into a 2nd Synology device.

Sure! Music, Movies (1080p ~ 500+), TV shows (360/480/720p ~ 4000+), Software, Porn. A lot of it is mostly archiving, which is a lot of older movies and TV shows that I have watched and is just there incase I feel nostalgic and want to watch again - which I often do.

What this dev has discovered is the new Ipad 4. Given that it will go into production beginning of 2013 in order to be ready for March/April launch it makes sense that at this stage they are testing it.
