In Japan, Monster Hunter: World has set a record for PS4 retail debut, selling 1,350,412 package copies in its first three days. That doesn’t include downloads, so the actual total is higher. Either way, impressive launch!

Nice. Good games to play this weekend. Have fun.

Ikea magnetized knife rack, mounted to the wall! It’s fantastic and easy to install.

Monster Hunter World and Neir Automata are my plans for this weekend.

I’ve played Monster Hunter on the 3DS but I didn’t like the fact that my hands cramped on me because of the style of play that is needed, so I quit, but then I picked it up for the PS4 and so far I’m having so much fun.

NieR Automata, I’ve been playing it a ton, but this was a super busy week so I haven’t played in several days and I’m itching to jump back in

Monster Hunter World to start with. Then once I tire of the grind I will change it up with Dragon Ball FighterZ. I also picked up Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle from the Nintendo store for $42, so I need to get myself some of that Mario + XCOM action. Finally, Yakuza Kiwami. I just finished Yakuza 0 for the second

because working on “art” is much more exciting (for many) than working on “non-creative” projects

Norsca was basically a preorder bonus for TW2, and it uses some of the units that already existed in the game, hence the price. They actual DLC armies, Wood Elves and Beastmen, have all costed the same. So “see what they can get away with” seems a bit wrong when it have costed the same always.

Yes, the entire community was hoping for this basically, if you check any of the Total War Reddit you’ll see this celebrated. People much prefer a really expanded unit roster (this is SUBSTANTIALLY more developed than most of the ones we’ve been given) as well as the Legendary Lords as opposed to short story campaigns.

Yeah, this kinda stuck out to me as well. Since when is $20 considered a lot for DLC these days? You get a whole new army to toy with, usually with completely new mechanics. It’s not like these units will be simple reskins of existing units.

A bit surprised about the price comment. It is a valid standpoint, everyone puts their own value on their money, but it have exactly the same price as the other DLC armies have had so it shouldn’t be a surprise.

“Comically oversized”? Seems normal for a former Marine who undoubtedly trained like a madman for this role. Not everyone needs to be (or is) shapeless.

“Can’t you put on a cowl or something?”

But we were meant to dislike her, and much like with Poe, she didn’t give a shit if we disliked her. She had a plan, she stuck to it, and then she went down with her ship like a fucking boss.

Witcher 3 shouldn’t feel like a slog except when you need to figure out how to beat one of the monsters you’ve never encountered before. Which can become a bit of a slog if you’re a “dive in” kind of player rather than a researcher.

If I remember correctly, there was an article many years ago in PC Gamer about Lockheed trying to sue EA over it’s Jane’s division specifically Jane’s AH-64D which included renderings of systems supplied by Lockheed, I believe the judge threw this out on the basis that military equipment is government property and of
