Ah, Game of the Year editions. This is why I won’t be playing Arkham Knight and its $40 DLC package until the winter.

Not sure why, I absolutely cannot get into more than one book at a time, yet I do it constantly in gaming.

The ZoE games were good, too bad the HD remaster was botched. Still, opinions. Why do you have to be a hater and diminish his accomplishments just because he is known for one franchise only? He made the games good, even with the cheesy confusing B-movie writing. We don’t know what he’s capable of doing next, so let’s

I got a PS4 last month (which came with The Order and Bloodborne) and bought Destiny, Infamous, Type-0 and Diablo 3 for it. So far I’ve pretty much exclusively played Diablo 3 and will continue to do so this month I imagine. Until the 19th of this month that is, Witcher 3 time from then! <3

Well the Witcher 3 will be the most obvious thing this May, and take precedence over anything else when it comes out.

Go for the baldurs gate 2 remake on a steam sale. That would give you an idea if you like the genre and is probably only $10 during a sale.

Honestly, you would be very, very, very well off playing one of the games it’s modeled after (Planescape Torment, Baldur’s Gate, etc.) to see if you like them. The older games have some more frustrating interface and mechanic issues that we’ve resolved much of, through time, but they’re still very fun and you’ll be

I backed this several years ago, and I’ve been poking at it since it came out. I just started Act III, and I’ve enjoyed it, though it definitely took some getting used to (again). Thoughts:

The game is great but not for everyone, even if you see tons of 10/10 scores, if you do not like this genre you will not like this game. If you frown when you see lots of text that you actually have to read, if you hate how you have to micromanage your party or you dont like the fact that the game does not show where

I personally preferred the over-the-top stunts in Injustice over the over-the-top gore in Mortal Kombat. I don’t know, it’s just my personal preference.

Slicing the front of a dude’s face off so his brain falls out? Not funny to me

Grabbing someone, flying up to the moon, punching them through the moon until they fall

I’m late generation X (I mean I’m pretty close to being millennial) and even I’m disgusted by it. It’s not puke inducing it’s just... Really? you felt it was necessary to go THAT far? And you find that entertaining? Just.... why? It’s ridiculous.

Give me some gratuitous sex any day. I much prefer that to this gross

For crying out loud, big budget games like this take time to make.

One can argue, which I do as a MoS fan, that the superman in that movie isn't the hero is in the comics yet. The movie had it shitty parts and flaws, but this isn't superman yet, per the title. It's a man with incredible power he doesn't know what to do with yet. He saves the one guy he could see, but when zod shows

Fear Effect: Inferno was 95% done when Eidos decided to cancel it. The series is one of the most underrated of all time, I was really angry when I read it was not coming out.

Beyond Good and Evil was one of my favourite games I’ve ever played. And I’m certain a sequal could improve a lot of the first games mix of open world/sneaking and platform gameplay. But alas it was never meant to be.

I’ve played Bioshock Infinite twice, yes, but not Far Cry 3 yet, which as I said in my original post, was/is a strong candidate for next off my backlog. Not having played Deus Ex yet to compare, I couldn’t say, but what little I’ve seen of the visuals, it looks pretty good, plus maybe they’re not the best comparisons

I actually just finished HR for the first time last week and have started playing through it again on NG+. I’d probably started it half a dozen times in the past couple of years but just couldn’t get past the first few hours. The biggest problem, and what kept me from getting any further all this time, is that

Don't forget the equally bad-as-Catwoman Jennifer Garner vehicle Elektra! Or Christian Slater's sister's movie Supergirl! Barb Wire! Ghost World! Red Sonja! Tank Girl! A handful of American comic book movies starring women!
