Nope, I'm currently only in a 20 mb down with an average of a 2mb dl speed on Steam, but back when i lived in Virginia, I was downloading games at 20 mb/s and spiking to 140 mb/s in some cases. It's always been the same, slow as shit.
I wonder if you've realized that the client is a lot slower than using, say, Chrome. Hell, Internet Explorer is faster than Valve's client.

I've been waiting for a miracle patch like this since I started using Steam 4 years ago. As it is, whenever I'm using the storefront or checking my profile page, I end up using a browser. I can only stand using the client to go to my library.
