I’ll do you one better- I’ll tell you what the candidates’ brand of Libertarianism is, because different Libertarians sometimes want different things. (As is true for Republicans and Democrats.)

Oh. You must have missed my other post. I think this is obvious from what is contained in this article. But hey, I’ll enumerate them here, so you can formally say you’re not convinced. My points:

Evidence... of... which...? Kinja borked and I don’t know which comment this is in reply to.

Read again:

People can have legitimate reasons for voting for Gary Johnson. I’m from California. I know my electoral votes are going to Hillary. I refuse to vote for Trump as his policies tend to be unconstitutional at best. I am voting for Gary Johnson as a message to both parties that they need to consider the centrist

There is never only one answer to anything. I don’t think that’s what happened. I think I’ve met my burden. You disagree. Therefore we disagree. I’m going to need to do more to convince you and people like you. I’m fine with you not being convinced.

Yeah, greater people than you have tried that tactic before and failed. Please look at my discussions before you try to cast aspersions.

Mmmm, I think it’s fairly obvious what they did- show up and say “oh, by the way, we’re publishing this as a transcript, you said no audio, no backsies!” Because if they were being upfront about it, they’d say, “okay, I’ll be asking questions and we’ll be publishing the transcript.”

Apologies, I will clarify. This is a tech blog that sometimes drifts into other areas, not a rumor blog, and up until now, hasn’t been used by editors trying to “stick it to the man.” I would prefer it to stay that way.

Otherwise, there is evidence here that this post was previously approved.

Right. Gawker. Which doesn’t exist anymore. Check the domain, this is Gizmodo. Gizmodo tended to not do that and generally not be childish in quite that manner.

Planning on making a transcript is one thing. Publishing it is another. And of course, there’s no legal issue with either Gawkmodo or Univision publishing it, so it would be ludicrous if legal nixed it. It’s just childish and not classy, like a 6-year-old saying, “I’m not jumping on the bed, I’m bouncing on it.” Yes,

As a condition of the interview, Univision required Gizmodo to refrain from publishing the recorded audio of the exchange, unless any particular passage happens to require future clarification.

As far as I can tell, it’s gone. I’m sad, and the extra $20/month hurts my wallet a bit, but I don’t know how I’d give up my ~20Gb/month habit.

I can’t help but notice you didn’t learn anything from Kirk. *coughPicardisbettercough*

I’ll take the bait, although I’m not sure why, because I’m 99.9% certain you were being hyperbolic...

My two cents’ worth: I’ve always thought of this in terms of Star Trek’s Prime Directive, “give a man a fish/teach a man to fish,” and the anti-example of Orwell’s 1984. A true hero’s goal is not to right wrongs, but to enable others to be better.

I agree with you completely, I was surprised how difficult it was to find someone who shared my opinion.
