So it's been over a year, so I feel justified in re-mentioning vimium. I think I was starting to get carpal tunnel before I discovered that. The two best features, in my opinion, are tab switching and link hints, which allows you to type to open a link. Just type the keys.

Alternatively, a good tip is AAA. They'll duplicate your key in a handy credit-card-sized form factor that you can put in your wallet, free for members.

Totally, you're right. The price is right, and it might be useful if it fits your workflow well enough. I just loathe paying extra for software that might end up being used infrequently and bogging down my machine, particularly when there's similar functionality already available.

Or Command-Option-h, to hide all the windows except the one you're working in. Much easier, cheaper, and no extra software installed.

This thing is awesome. I have a few nitpicks that they just might not be able to do, technically speaking. If you have an eraser that's really badly caked, compressed air won't do anything. But, usually you can wash the erasers. The ink is non-toxic and with a little soap will come right out. I've gotten the worst erasers that probably haven't been cleaned in years back to light-gray in about 5 minutes of light
