For me honestly...Iron Man 2. Never saw it in the theaters, never heard a good thing about it, but when I finally watched it, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Didn't top the first one, but WAY better than what anyone had led me to believe about it.

From the opening screen to the final battle - epic. Acting was way off in too many ways, but, boy, did it still deliver. Matrix would have been a lot cooler (if possible) if this hadn't come out before. Although my late teen age at the time played an important role on my perception.

I had no interest in this movie, whatsoever. I came home from school one night and my daughter was watching it on DVD. After a few minutes, I made her restart it from the beginning, and I fell in love with it. Yeah, it's cheesy, predictable, blah blah blah, but it was so much better than I ever expected it to be.

I went to this one because my gf wanted to go. I figured, fine, whatever. Holy crap! I was blown away. Easy one of the best movies I saw that year.

Believe it or not, I had to be forced to watch Fight Club.

Was not expecting much from this. Never read the comic...now its one of my favorites.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is one of my favorite films, second only to Lord of the Rings. It's just so...insanely awesome/awesomely insane.
