As someone who has read the datamine, stay away from the spoilers, they are expansive and cover even the end and ruin a few twists. I'm the kind of person who loves spoilers, but many people don't, so there's my PSA.

ME3 is worth keeping it for imo, but that's a biased opinion. If you have a PC that can run ME3, there are ways of building save files, so that's an option. ME3 multiplayer is supposed to be quite the blast, might be worth keeping gold for that too.
