your two explanations while valid miss the fact that if the the objects are immovable then the molecules that constructed them would be of similar action thusly they could not move around each other. They would stay on the exact same course, unyielding.

But does this not violate the concept that two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time? If these two immovable objects came together at the same time on the same trajectory in opposite directions and passed through each other they would occupy the same space at the same time which cannot happen.
