I live my life 6.11 miles at a time.

So you’re saying the swatters aren’t at all responsible, and that it’s solely the responsibility of the police that they’re getting calls of hostage situations and homicides because someone gets off on seeing innocent people put in dangerous situations? If that’s how you view the situation, then I don’t think your

Isn’t the fact that people will swat random strangers while knowing that fact just as troubling? It’s no different than picking up a gun and shooting aimlessly at a crowd. That’s not just a gun problem. That’s also a people problem.

It’s actually way harder than that. You know how you get telemarketers calling from local numbers? Most of them are located outside of the US, but they’re able to spoof to different numbers.

I think both issues are just as bad. Cops shooting people and people falsely reporting hostage situations. They do it knowing someone might get shot, and they’re hoping for it.

You’re giving people too much credit. I get this sick feeling that those who swatted him were partially hoping to see it happen again, but this time with a child. Some people are just fucked up.

*slightly crazier camera angles.

On an unrelated note, I was watching the (worthless) news a few weeks ago, and a child in a different part of Taipei slipped out of those bars feet-first. As in, her head was stuck inside the bars while her body was dangling outside. Luckily, neighbors and a random expat climbed up the outside of the building and

Goddamn this game’s so good. Couldn’t stop recommending it to a friend while walking through a games market in Taipei today.

I like Warframe’s system a lot. That’s how microtransactions should be done.

I’ve been playing Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (which is actually pretty good), and I don’t think this guy would even qualify as a whale in that game. Some players I’ve seen online are spending several thousand per banner, which come twice a month. I can’t fathom why some people would spend so much on a game that, while

Epic is pretty fucked as well. They’ve released the name of a minor without consent, which is a criminal offense. I have a feeling a jury will reward the individual punitive damages which will be far more than they will reward Epic. It would be better for Epic to drop the suit against the minor and pray the mother

This weekend, my semi-gaming uncle said he didn’t have anything single player to play. I (again) suggested Bloodborne out of reflex, and remembered how wonderfully fun that game is. Might have to NG++ it at some point.

To be fair, this bit of advice is pretty applicable to anyone. If you think backwards from the end of your life, decisions that might seem to be moderately risky but are pretty much bad ideas all around (like investing in that next ICO, not using that rubber, buying a brand new car, etc.) will become immediately

Or just work somewhere else.

You better be sleeping with them and cleaning them daily. Just keep them out of the bathroom at night.

Are you replying to the right person? I’m saying he deserved the penalty because of the result, because that is what matters. I’m also saying I disagree with the commenters who are up in arms about intent solely on the aspect of intent (which is a separate issue from the penalty). Those two opinions are not mutually

That’s why I said I think the penalty is fair, because of the results. What I’m trying to explain is I don’t believe it was as intentional as people made it out to be. Thanks for reinforcing what I said.

Doesn’t leave his feet, isn’t any lower than a normal tackle. This is routine.

You can lead with your head if you don’t leave your feet, as long as it wasn’t intentionally helmet to helmet, even though it’s dangerous for the defender to do so since it has a higher risk of injury for the defender. You’re also allowed to hit a player in the chest with the side of your helmet, if you’re down to get
