Or just admit that it wasn’t juice and not drink it. Did the kid not know it’s meth or something?

Why didn’t he just, you know, admit it’s not juice and not drink it?

The Patlabor movies are incredible. The direction of Mamoru Oshii is like nothing else done in animation. Summer Wars is also excellent, as are Mamoru Hosoda’s other non-franchise works: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Wolf Children, and The Boy and the Beast. Millennium Actress(Satoshi) and The Place Promised in Our

Saw this at a fest. Wasn’t a fan. I liked A Girl Walk Home Alone at Night, but I felt something was missing from this outing. The imagery and cinematography were awesome, but it was missing substance. I can’t figure out why that is, but it just wasn’t very good.

To be fair, Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, and Joe Haden are great players...but that’s about it.

I’d say it’s pretty outdated for both.

It’s a strict dress code for anyone. No, your outlandish comparisons devalue your stance.

You’re still comparing a historical act of civil disobedience to a strict dress code. Please stop doing that. It’s offensive to me, and anyone else who’s not white.

Exactly, so don’t get so hung up about the spandex and lycra thing. It affects both sexes. Focus on how shitty United is with everything else. People focusing on a non-issue while missing the other issues is why United still does what they do.

They’re known for their compression shirts.

I’m not sure where you’re looking, but plenty of men wear form-fitting shirts to work.

Under Armour shirts also not okay.

Are you sure? I thought shorts were fine in their dress code, but form-fitting clothing for anyone is not. Also, where is this bit about the 10 year old coming from?

What the fuck is wrong with you? You’re comparing one of the greatest and bravest acts against racism to a goddamn dress code policy for employees and their families on a flight?

How are they sexist? They don’t specifically ban leggings. They ban Spandex, Lycra, and anything else form-fitting. You know what else is banned for free flyers? Those Under Armour shirts that men wear.

Where are you guys seeing this about a 10-year old that had to change?

I’m pretty sure men wear spandex and lycra as well.

I’m pretty sure that’s the poster’s point: that the author is devaluing a very strong argument by including a false point. I agree with them, because United is shit, and including something false only helps them.

I think you missed the point. The OP is saying this weakens an otherwise important argument: that United is shit. Don’t include disproven bullshit when there’s already such an endless supply of strong facts.
