As a lifelong Buddhist who spent seven years in Catholic schools, I agree with the OP. Just as with Islam (and almost every religion), the basic tenets of Christianity are good, and it’s the people that twist it.

I’m in Taiwan right now, and Asian male celebs do this all the time. It’s only the “wholesome” idols that have to apologize. I think the issue is with e-sport’s approach to celebrity status, as in, they’re not wholesome idols.
