You are not talking about DLSS3 with Frame Generation though, which introduces a ton of visual artifacts/problems, as well as horrific input lag.

for some, yeah. But he’s right, Europe will phase out sales of new ICEs for the private sector in a dozen or so years. And 10 years after that, demand for petrol will have dropped even further, so petrol stations will start to disappear.
The author said that horses didn’t disappear. That’s true, but our cities also…
“ahem”. In a time, when a 386DX40 was a quite capable PC, EA delivered “Strike Commander” from Origin to PC players, complete with a folded ad poster from Intel in the Box:
“The Intel 486 DX2-processor - can you survive without it?”
Going by my cousin, who said the installation of the game from floppy disks took…
I’d rather say the Volvo 850R. The V70-II has the spaceball shifter, and it is available in the best color combination ever (Flash Green with Atacama Leather).
Unfortunately, a lot of the car is already a bit FORD-ified. The original 850R already had the passive-steering rear axle, the almost perfect setup considering…
I poured over 400 hours into one character in Morrowind. Did every available quest that didn’t conflict with another one (i.e. no cheating to level up all factions p.ex. , no going back on choices), had a blast finding all the hidden Daedra lord quests, and did all of the expansions. It was really, really great.
Sunk…
Thank you, sadly I do not have one of my own, so I had to look up photos again and you are of course 100% right. Even the roof has a slight curvature.
Still a beautiful car though!
aren’t the panels of the DeLorean mostly flat? The hood, the door panels etc... Granted, it has a more varied design, but it works for that car.
That said, the Cybertruck just looks... boring, which fits in well with another company from the same guy.
Thing is: He probably wouldn’t. Elon is good at one thing: Buying up companies and claiming the inventions and merits of others as his own.
That’s about all he ever did. He brought the money (from his parents mine), the other people brought the brains. iirc SpaceX is the only company he actually founded, and even that…
I just realised (concerning my criticism) that the pictured backplate is the OLD version from JSAUX.
Since they also sell the transparent front plate, they moved to a new design:
Excellent idea actually. Maybe suggest it to the manufacturer, they are open for constructive criticism and suggestions and constantly updating their product line.
P.ex. they now also have front shells - they originally said they would never make them because of the very involved process of dismantling the whole Deck,…
I wish I was (and getting paid for it), but no. I just think that the absolutely positive effect this little bit has on the longetivity of the Deck is greatly underappreciated in the review.
Strange, I never had to adjust the angle on how I hold the deck in any way - never touched it during gaming, never had a problem. As I said, it might be a problem for people with really large hands though.
Ouch, that sounds bad. Didn’t happen to mine (I got the green one btw), but if that’s really a problem with more of them, then that is a design flaw that needs to be addressed for sure.
Sorry, but you are actually touting the BEST thing about this backplate as its worst?
The metal pad with its contact area actually lowers temperatures by about 10°C when using the same fan speed. Since the Deck has a robust thermal management, it also works the other way around - you can game far longer with (for the…
That was an issue with the solder they used back then. Sony went through the same problem with the PS3, the YLOD. And they didn’t give you a new console when it was out of normal warranty - you were just out of luck then.
It’s the same with rental cars and people leaving their address search history in the navigation systems. In the UK, some cars from the royal familys relatives got sold years ago, and apparently nobody cared to clean the history of the satnav. So people would somehow know how to drive to the royal palace (gasp!) or…
Doesn’t BG3 have a system built-in that automatically prevents catastrophic failures from happening, but in the same time also stifles extrem success?
Iirc there’s a system that is by default turned ON that prevents your dice rolls from having too much of an influence on everything.
I think you can turn it off though,…
Could it be that the appeal of the R1T is that it is not obscenely massive?
I’ve seen some here in Germany, and they seem ok even for our smaller roads and parking spaces. Not like the Ford monstrosities you normally associate with the US.
In my experience, collectors want something that has been well-preserved. And getting a well-preserved entry level vehicle may sometimes be even harder than getting one of the top-of-the-line-models, because those were often already purchased by wealthy people with the intent of only pulling them out on a nice day.…
wouldn’t say that. Stock models are increasingly disappearing, and this car wasn’t that common to begin with. This means that a “normal” or especially the entry version is becoming more and more rare.
Think Opel GT (the old one) with the 1100cc engine. Most people wanted a fast one with the 1900cc, the small…
