The funny thing is:
I know a lot of people who are playing Cyberpunk right now and have ZERO problems - on PC. Some have problems on older consoles, but they didn’t expect anything else - this is a triple A - title that was announced before PS4/Xbox One were really out, and heaven forbid it would’ve been released a

as it should, it is an official collaboration between the two franchises.

There sure was a LOT more money behind Shadowrun. Though in the Pen&paper scene, “more” is relative - nobody really got rich there ever.
But the Larry Elmore Cover art drew a lot of people, as well as the presentation of the hardcover rulebook in general. They also had good novel writers, so that also helped a lot.
But

yes, I do remember :) Although I was a teen back then, I started playing Shadowrun with the first edition. Didn’t start console gaming until my 20s (was always a home computer / PC guy), but when I started collecting them I stumbled across Shadowrun, and it was surprisingly good actually! Didn’t expect that at all.

“style over substance” was meant literally back then though. It meant that modifying your body and appearance (style) was more important than keeping enough of it “human” to still have enough “substance” to avoid going insane.
A topic that a lot of cyberpunk publications and RPGs have toyed with - how many

The pen&paper RPG this is based on came out in 1988. So there are a lot of older people out there who played it back then, or played one of the updated versions they release in the 30-odd years since then.
So even if they are now hyped because of that, they can still wear their tattoos and be reminded of a franchise

Funny thing, I actually liked the game very much because of the bright and vivid colors!
I found a lot of games too bleak. This pseudo-dark-gritty-realism reaaaally got on my nevers years ago, I hate new tv/netflix series for this (they all have to be daaaark and gritty, and “realistic”, and have plot twists all the

If you want high fantasy and cyberpunk setting mixed, get yourself some Shadowrun games (or better: play the pen&paper rpg and read the rules).
Cyberpunk as a rpg is (a year) older and different from Shadowrun. It was never meant to incorporate fantasy stuff, it is sci-fi, not high fantasy.
That doesn’t mean that you

If you were/are excited for it because of the source where it came from (cyberpunk pen&paper rpg, and accompanying lore) then you won’t be disappointed.
If you want it to be another Witcher 3, you WILL be disappointed.

It is a different game, not more of the same in a different setting.

No, they did that with Witcher 1. Which got a massive overhaul with patch 1.4 (enhanced edition), basically redoing the whole game. 80% less load times, over 200 new animations, new NPC designs (randomizer), mix’n’match of different languages for audio and subtitles, better inventory handling... the changes were too

As I stated somewhere else, I assume that Witcher-Lovers will buy it just because it comes from the same developer, but not really like the game.
It should be bought by Witcher-non-likers, those will probably have a really good time with this one :)
At least judging from my experiences of lots of years playing pen&paper

After reading your review, I have one very big question:
Are you a pen&paper RPG player? And if so, did you play Cyberpunk and or Shadowrun?
If so, did you prefer Shadowrun over Cyberpunk?

Then this game might not really tick all the right boxes for you.
It seems from the comments of my friends that most people coming

For 2D Fighters: Sega Saturn japanese pad / Mega Drive 6-button pad.
The best OEM pads imho for Street Fighter etc.

The Wii had one of the most brutal, Frank-Miller-esque games of all times:
Madworld

Can’t recommend this game enough, the fighting gameplay is actually decent, and the style is extremely brave, especially for a family console. Was very surprised by this. Made by Platinum Games and published by Sega.

The funny thing is: I like the One especially BECAUSE the games are also on PC. With many MS titles, you can buy a Win10/Xbox combo version for the same price if you purchase it through the MS store. And with that I can game on the big screen in the living room, and later continue the same game on my pc. Which I did

You forgot that the 2000 SpiderMan game was also released on Dreamcast. And that version was way better than the PS1 version :)

Thanks for the clarification about the licenses, but you seem to be in error here when it comes to the channels on Twitch.
Regional law might be different, I can only speak for Germany.

The emulator itself isn’t illegal.
Backing up your game is not illegal as long as you do not have to circumvent copy protections to do so. Theoretically, this can only be done if your backup can play without any modification on an original console - which won’t happen with the Gamecube,so...

Modifying the code of the

Those rights are handled differently though, and by different agencies.
P.ex. in Germany, there is the GEMA, which handles all payments of broadcasted and live-played music, and then hands them out to the artists.
This also means, that if you are registered with them, and play your own songs for a live audience for

That had all been solved already to an acceptable degree - with PhysX. And I mean, before Nvidia bought up the whole shebang - back then when PhysX was a somewhat “free” library, that could run on your CPU or on a specialized hardware accelerator card.
Borderlands 2 had some nice cloth physx effects for flags and tent
