Oh, I know that no country whatsoever is immune from falling into the same trap. The novel “The Wave” and its origin shows that quite clearly.
The question to me is: Do you really think that even the option of armed resistance is necessary and/or warranted against your past, current or possible short-term future

Just food for thought: You are justifying being proficient in using weapons with the past. Do you realize that times have moved on and that in the future the use of single arms will probably not do you any good?
A lot of societies were a few hundred years ago dependent on their members knowing how to use arms.
This has

no, since they cannot force the owner/driver to hand over the keys and they have no legal warrant to search them if they say that they don’t have them.
But they can still take away the car.
These kind of trucks are standard fare here in Hamburg/Germany too. Probably because they don’t want to risk running in with any of

But are you really winning a revolution that way or are you just starting another war?
I am sorry, but to me winning a revolution is proving that your way of life is the better way for EVERYONE. Otherwise you are just replacing one oppressive system with another.
Either live in isolation (like Wakanda) or if you don’t

I think that it is (sadly) still ok and correct to point out the problems in pay equality that this game shows up.
However, I have to strongly disagree with the methods it uses.
Promoting violence and carelessness, getting “revenge” (even if just out of fun) can lead to susceptible and/or frustrated minds feeling

That is true. Often you only look at the price of some items (brakes, tyres) and think: Hey, that’s not so bad at all. Then you have to replace something else like, say, the instrument cluster. A new one will set you back more than 2000$ on a Porsche 996. Ouch. Used ones are priced accordingly.
Got my last one for a

I prefer sitting in the chair of the broken car. Its more comfy for sure :)
But yes, that’s why I do not regret buying the 996 instead. Comfortable cruising at any speed.

But completele missing the point of owning a luxury grand tourer.
And still way more terrible to drive on a long journey than the BMW850. You can do 280km/h all day long in that one without breaking into a sweat.

But then you’d have a ... Corolla.
Bleh.

Luckily I already have an 850. 850R estate :) Not as costly, but still loads of fun, and runs 155mph+ too

This. I was just thinking “why did I go for a 996" since their engines tend to self-destruct at some point, costing you 10.000-15.000€ in repairs.
But then I remembered the guy who opened the hood of his 850 in front of the train station in Saarbruecken and found that the underside of the hood as well as the whole

Good luck and have fun :) We were all around the age of 10 when we started gaming, the uncle of one of my friends drew two large binders full of monsters for us to use in our games and created stats for them.
Since we could only afford simple miniatures to buy and no huge monster figures, we modeled them out of FIMO.

Meh, how is this all newsworthy? We had several bomb disarmaments last year here in Hamburg, somtimes they are just days apart. Practically everywhere you dig deep there’ll be some leftover munitions from WWII.
You shrug, call the bomb squad, wait until the evacuation is over and you can return home and get on with

Those fall strictly inside the “only in America” - category :D

Pro Tip: Start with the old 1st edition. That is keeping it simple. Basically a slightly more complex version of Hero Quest / Munchkin.

Have visual references for monsters and locations on hand. Use miniatures and maps. Pro tip to go cheap: Draw a square pattern on a piece of cardboard and then wrap it in self-adhesive

you probably got something wrong there though and are clinging to the example about college chants given further up.
Yes, those chants may sound extremely rude by todays standards, I agree. And yes, a lot of things are a product of their times, and times for different behaviours come and go - words are “trendy” among

That’s a Volvo engine, derived from the 850T5 - Ford just made the cam belt twice as wide so it doesn’t have to be changed that often, and then they got rid of the hydraulic lifters and simplified it even further.
But it still says Volvo on a lot of parts. Duratec is absolutely the wrong word to put anywhere on it :D
