Even getting 40 people online with the right classes at the same time was a challenge, getting them to perform as a team (*cough* Magtheridons chamber *cough* ) was an even bigger challenge.

Try System Shock (the first one - grab the CD version with higher resolution). You can adjust the game to play it as some kind of adventure (no time limit, no danger from enemies) or customize it as a shooter or make the cyberspace elements harder etc...
