Is that a Der Amerika Bomber top center along with the Yb-49?

How can you not enjoy the cheesebasticness of He-Man?

Right now, I'm reverse engineering some old Centuri model rocket nose cones to post at Thingiverse and 3D printing some out for test fits.

I'm also working up a five page InterStellar OverDrive teaser for a supposedly forthcoming Work Horse Comics sampler. It features Revellia Bast, seen her with her mother, Flexia,

It looks a little weak and frail and associates with the most bad and amateurish webcomics.

The Apple Macintosh. :D

If I could only get the Captain Saucer revival going. He has this rival space hero, who is actually unhinged enough to be a dangerous antagonist....

IIRC, back in the '70s there was some lady who self-medicated herself by drinking like five gallons of water a day to purify herself against cancer. She ended up bloated looking like she was very pregnant and died when her overloaded kidneys gave. out.

Imagine that! A '70s cartoon with an ecology moral....

THis makes me think of my preschool attempts to figure out how cartoons work. "Maybe Pixie and Dixie and Jinx are people in suits? But how do they get those black lines around them?"

Carl Stalling says it will never work....

What show is that gif from?

Frank R. Paul?

Plus I believe these are Checker cabs which were built until the '80s.

D'n'D discovers Steam Punk?

Oh, gawd, my Mom actually has this hanging in her living room....

This movie in general and the Harkonnens in particular were Dieselpunk before there was Dieselpunk. That was a big influence on me. Back in my Small Press Comics days, I was ornery enough to do a perspective flip parody where the Harkonnen surrogates were the good guys.....

How about the Tiny Clowns of Happy Town? The Get-Along Gang? And the Snorkels (this was another Smurfs wannabe)?

I actually begged for a job at Dennis Kennedy studios to actually to the keys for this.

Oh no! Not that syrupy ELO ballad....

fischer-techik; der moofie!
