As somebody who has been toying with Atom Punk since the early '80s, I really agree.

I don't get the cultic appeal. Especially the Bronies. WTF?

I loved that for being such a wickedly back-haded parody.

Same here!

Really fell in love was DS9 back in the '90s.

Squint your eyes and think of a pulp skiffy cover come to life.....

Like these old System 7 floppies from the Beleaguered '90s.

I have the mouse on the right. :\

As if regular kitties aren't bad enough shredding machines...

It looks like my tubby tabby too....

Well, how many of you can drive a three-on-the-tree?

How could I forget Sci Fi Guy's "bestest" spaceship the "Belle of Brass"? With its superluminiferous aether repellers, it's the only steam powered flying saucer in the galaxy capable of FTL! Plus it has a little Nipkow-scanned holographic spaceship girl....

If I was going to tongue-in-check vote for myself...

How about the winters of the '70s and early '80s? I especially remember the extra cold January and blizzards until May at ISU in the firs half of '83.

I knew this for years. I've been toying with with Bauhaus flavored Diesel Punk since the early '90s.

I'll throw out my webcomic that I need to get back to: Sci Fi Guy!

If I don't get it right, at least I'll get and earful about how to fix it....

Gleaner corn head....

Bonus: A '10s style Steam Punk brass greeblie laptop drawn in '96 from the same aborted comic. It's even influenced by the old Mac System 7.5 or 6. In handy dandy link form. Because this site never lets me upload any images.

Thanks for embedding my art!

BTW, how do I get an inline jpeg to upload? I've only done it once or twice. The rest of the time your site just perpetually hangs.

Of course the Steam Punk version. Which I drew back in 1996!
