I love watching the catcher get drilled by the flailing legs

It goes both ways, I’ve met players that are universally loved and portrayed as great people in the media, but are jerks if you see them on the street.

I’m a Blue Jackets fan, but I remember going nuts when Kane scored in 2010 to win the Cup.

Should we expect a Burneko “Bankruptcies, ranked” piece soon?

Really, it have seen far more support for Hulk than Gawker by a long shot. Granted, not on this site.

Barry, that template of the jersey you provided is different than the ones unveiled in at least one aspect. The laces on the white jersey are white in that template, but are red on the actual jerseys. The red laces create an homage to the Florida state flag to make it look kind of like the St. Andrew’s cross.

Which would be considered a breakdown down low, like I said. It is 3 on 3 down low when the puck is at the point, Braun lined up next to Sheary and Vlasic next to Hornqvist, Ward took Sidney. There was no reason in that play for 61 and 44 to switch men or to both go to the same guy, which goes back to my first post

I am not sure about your first sentence, I agree that 61 should not be on Sheary’s hip, but there shouldn’t be two D trying to play the same guy. The was 61's guy off the face off and he let him get lost up high, if 61 was 2 feet above the dot that shot goes directly into his shin pads.

How dare you put “Finals!” Hockey-twitter better not see this!

I was a major breakdown for Braun and Vlasic, more so Braun. Most teams play 3 on 3 down low, but for some reason 44/61 went to the same guy. In the first picture you included, if Braun takes two strides toward Sheary that play never happens.

Barry, I thoroughly enjoy the daily 9 AM hockey article. Thanks

Since when do you have Ad landing pages?

I will most likely cry if the Sharks win the Cup because I’ll be so happy for Joe

I got to see CBB live a few weeks ago, hope you did too!

I’ve heard of dead people, but deadspin?!

Technicality no down boo over?

Barry - I disagree with your thoughts on the Callahan post. It was a screened shot off the rush, and MAF was in proper position to make a save on a puck he didn’t see. I don’t think that was him being shaky.

They also probably had their best team in franchise history, which helps prevent the folding.
