My favorite part is that everyone went after Markov and not Subban because they didn’t see it

The issue is that if Stone didn’t react the way he did(not saying it was embellished), it would have been a 2 minute or even not even called. I see no problem with that play it happens so many times during a game, just not usually that obvious.
ties are worse than a shootout. Need W and L.
I would rather someone get the point(s) than for it to be a tie. Then the previous 65 minutes of play decided nothing. I do not mind the shootout. It gets the game over with, which is good for the players and their health/stamina. How many coaches want to have a 5 overtime game in Edmonton on a Tuesday night in March…
I am a real hockey fan. I don’t mind the shootout.
I stumbled upon it late Sunday night. I hope it stays! Really cool idea
You're missing the best part of the story. He still played in that game after the slash, and the following game! His team won and was promoted to the Swedish Hockey League for doing such. Video surfaced after the win to be promoted.
You could also say that about the NCAA.
I don't even think DiPietro is really an exception. He was ruined by injuries, who knows what he could've been if he was healthy his whole career. He was right on pace when the injuries happened. He was 24 the first time he won 30 games in a season, Luongo was 26 when he first did it, Carey Price was 23, Quick was…
Don't forget Boston!
halak would have stopped it
the Ref was trying to turn him on his side so he didn't swallow his tongue.
In case anyone was wondering it is Jokerit and Bern in the picture
Samer, was Olympus or the Production Company or Marketing company fined, too? It seems it would be weird if they weren't!
Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking of!! Thank you for that, I remember watching and my jaw just dropped, loved that shot! And I say that being a Columbus fan!
Oh man. Was his last goal when Shea Weber just walked in and went bar down. Like not long after a face off.
NCAA wont change their stance on fighting, and they won't even rethink it until they allow visors. Fighting with full cages isn't fun.
you should note that the penalties evened out. Each got a 2 and a 10 for unsportsmanlike. One got a rough and the other got a dive. No fighting called
first off, I would not consider this a fight. Atleast not in the typical hockey sense. Gloves and Helmets are still on. The NCAA gives an automatic DQ for punches thrown to the head (however, the refs tend to let most of them slide). The reason he dove was because he knew if he dropped like that the guy would be…
all I could think when I saw this link was, Please be Boulerice, Please be Boulerice.
