I replied to someone else, but around 30% of the NHL played NCAA, but I don't really have the numbers of those that actually got a degree. It is estimated that it is around half those players graduated. So 15% of the NHL has a college degree, not bad. I can only speak for Canada and US, but having played in those

I was confusing, I know. I meant that 30% of population already has a college background so they may already be learned enough to pursue jobs. And the remaining would piggy back on name recognition for there jobs. Thinking about it now, I could see a lot of them going more into sales. Car Dealerships, Insurance,

Fellow Columbus Native. Like Yuji said blow, I think because the 614 is such a 180 to the rest of the state we really don't comprehend the venom spewed in our direction. But I havent really met anyone who has come to Columbus and didn't like it. We just have to embrace our Columbus heritage.

Firstly, we are debating an absurd point that will never happen! But let's humor it. I don't think they would need a degree at all, and let us not forget Hockey is ending as we know it, not that it didn't exist. Over 30% of the NHL played college hockey, and I think its around half of those players played 4 years

I think most of the NHL players would go work in finance or as agents albeit it would have to be in another sport. That's what most of the ones who don't make the cut do anyway. The Leafs could probably field a Ryder Cup team, though. I would watch that

Thanks

Wow, didn't even know that existed! Thank you

For you MetroWesters, there is a place in Marlboro called La Tapitia. Best tacos I have ever had, they completely changed my view on tacos forever and cheap, too. 6 Tacos and 2 Glass Bottle Cokes is under $15.

I've hear people rave about Anna's but never been. Where'd you hit up the food truck? I've only seen them when I am at client's in Cambridge, granted most of my clients are really in food truck friendly places

Agreed, Girardi was terrible all night.

And I would argue that the excess of fighting is hurting Canada's development! Oh wait

I think CHL would be the central hockey league in the US and not Major Junior

Don't worry Reub, I watched the entire game and can forego a recap until I get bored

More like Girewwwww. He just rubs me the wrong way.

More like Girewwwww. I don't consider him elite. He rubs me the wrong the way and seems flaky

1 x 9 = 9; 9-7=2; 20+2=22

I actually think it is the opposite. It was the Lucic chest banging on an empty net goal in Game 2 and Boychuks double pistols in Game 1 that didn't sit well with MTL. Dale Weise mocked Lucic in Game 3 by banging his chest after scoring. That, and a bunch of other things contributed to the Habs feeling they were

or the Bronx Bombers or the Blue Shirts or Blue Notes or Bolts

As someone from CBJ land (hence the Nash love), I am aware of his battles with Oshie. I remember Nash going after him a couple times and just getting destroyed, but I wouldn't say he backed off of TJ. Granted, I admit Nash by now means is a physical player and doesn't use his size and strength as much as he should.
