YA! When's the last time the NL won the World Series anyway!
Somebody call the Waynebulance!
DONT WORRY I GOT THE JOKE!
I live in Boston, from Ohio and not a Boston sports fan. 100% Actual Conversation at work during Hawks-Bruins Finals, and we were just talking about how I used to play hockey.
Never mentioned turning his head, just turning in general. It's the fact that he reversed direction at a very bad time. And the fact that Kronwall (the guy that got hit, see above) said in an interview it was his fault, and that he shouldnt have tried to cut back. Because....... its a stupid move. It's not like…
Duuuuuuuuddddddeeeee
ONUS*
As much as I despise that you corrected my speech, I wanted to thank you. I'm a god awful speller. No one has ever corrected me on that and phonetically it worked for me! Even though now that I think about it, phonetically it doesnt work. Thanks Jerk!!!!
He wasn't angling to hit him from behind, he was waiting for him to get more in the corner. He had already committed to hit.
And kronwall turned. And he said oh shit I can't lose him so he did what he planned on doing. It's not like
McLeod had seconds to react. He barely had no reaction time and just went off instinct
Just like West Coast Girls! AYYYYOOOOO
Meh, yes it's a penalty. Its against the rules, while still being within the rules. 99% of the time fighting in hockey wont get you suspended. While 99% of the times attempts to injure and cheap shots are suspended (Albeit these are mostly subjective thoughts)
Written one day before http://octopusthrower.com/2013/10/16/nik…
Exactly, my post touched on this. I'd give 90% of the blame on Kronwall. Don't turn dummy
As much of a dirty hit this was this kind of play pisses me off, part of the ownness has to be on Kronwall. DONT TURN! If he just keeps skating behind the net this is avoided. Why force it up the strong side when you can turn the net. At worst he gets shoulder to shoulder in the corner. Mcleod had a decent angle…
Of course it is! And that's why it's best. But, this was not a clean hit. And, fighting is legal!
If the Isles clock guy wasn't too busy tweeting out a pic of him at the gym from earlier, it would've been 7 seconds
Born and raised in Columbus, just moved outside of Boston. Jeni's is probably the thing I miss most (found a local market that carries it! Brambleberry Crisp only $12 dollar a pint!!) But I actually love Skyline. I think its just a childhood memory thing of going down to see the Reds and stopping at the one across…
I don't care what you say. I'll take a three way any day of the week
