Totally agreed. You kicked him while he was sleeping? I'm pretty sure he was just as annoyed to be there as you, the only difference is you're the only one who actually cemented your status as the ass in the story. And then to write about it like "look what an asshole his guy was to me because I'm fat!" You know what

It sounds as if you were the one who was rude, even according to your OWN ACCOUNT of the confrontation. How old are you that you don't recognize that the adults here can tell that you were the one in the wrong, arriving late to a middle seat, not saying "excuse me," and then proceeding to verbally accost the man who

Sorry Lindy, love ya to bits, but you sound super-duper immature and passive aggressive and like YOU were the one late for the plane, hungover, and getting to your seat after everyone else had sat down. I don't care if you weight 65 pounds soaking wet, all THAT is annoying.

So.....you violated someone's space, he muttered something sotto voce, then you went and wrote an angry screed about it?

I missed the part about where he said something about your weight.

I can't believe people actually took Nicholson's note seriously. I'm sure he was just keeping the joke going. Jack looks way too tired to try this shit for real at this point. 10 years ago, sure, but not anymore.

I vote for the fight scene in Before Midnight. Since you asked.

all indication is that this is personal

You missed the biggest example of his bias.

Words can't express how much I love this screencap. Also, a huge FUCK YOU to people who make horse jokes about her.

Lots of comments here from folks saying they didn't watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes and yet commenting on there being no way these intelligent apes could lead a war against humanity.

Frankly, I don't get all the hate for Rise. I have a soft spot for the original films but let's face it - they are cheese-tastic for today's standards. Burton's reboot was painful. At least Rise was an honest attempt at an origin story and I thought it was well done. What do people expect? Do they expect a total

Bizarre. Rise of the Planet of the Apes is unquestionably one of the best science fiction movies of this century, and far superior to any previous PotA movie.

So there we go. James Franco obliterates humanity. We knew it would happen.

better?
as in I had better get my dictionary out and check that definition.

I guess you didn't watch the other movie.

What the hell ? The first movie was very well reviewed and loved as an unexpected gift the year it was released. The choice to make Ceasar the lead character and have everything revolve around his growing intelligence and frustration with the world was epic. The movie was all about what matters in movies... character

"I didn't really like the first one so I'm going to rush to comment on the trailer for the second because ... because science!"

Yep, that's how you do a trailer. Great delivery, great sound, great visuals, good CGI. Now all we have to do is hope it has a decent script.
