@beercheck: Wrong. I'm frustrated that most people can't get passed that it's politically incorrect, therefore wrong in some way, to accuse the weaker person of making a mistake. The cop "should have known better" so therefore, to most of you, it's irrelevant that they were seen drinking heavily. I've never seen

@dal20402: Christ...Are you people so stupid that you think that after being at a party from 10 until 1, and playing beer pong that they weren't drunk? Or that, of the teenagers with VASTLY different stories on how much they drank, that SOME of them weren't lying to protect their friends or their OWN ass?

@CarlitoBenito: No. I THINK NOT FUCKING DRINKING AND DRIVING WOULD HAVE SAVED THEM.

@Parramore: It's called politics. The kids died, so someone has to face justice, and just like the rest of you sheep, the general public doesn't want to blame "innocent" yet DRUNK kids. It works much better for the city and the PD to just hang the cop.

@Drew and not U: And who's to say that they would have made the turn if they were sober and their judgement were better. They sure as fuck wouldn't have been hit if they'd stayed the night at the party place and not DRIVEN DRUNK. The teenagers were at fault.

Speeding trumps right of way, drunk f'n teenagers trumps speeding. [www.connpost.com]

@CarlitoBenito: I err on the side of caution because it's 2 am and who knows what drunk idiots are coming toward me.

@avconsumer2: No I'm not. See comment to iancoleTX.

@iancoleTX: Ass? Why? Because I am willing to bet teenagers that are out a 2 am and make a reckless left hand turn against oncoming traffic MAY have been drinking?

@Brimful of Ash on the 78: That's why he should have been driving defensively. Of course, there's little reason for a pair of teenage boys to be out at 2am. I'd be interested in seeing what their toxicology tests showed, if they were conducted.

You know what? Despite the fact that the officer was speeding without lights on, he DID have the right of way in that intersection. The kid should have never made that left.

So what's it's going to start at? $ It doesn't matter how good it is if it has a higher price tag than is reasonable (It can't approach Cadillac Territory and expect to sell here)

@AmishJohn: I'll have to remember that for when I sell my 200K mile 03 Corolla with a front bumper that's been bumped by parallel parkers 1 too many times. :)

It has either been in an accident or shows typical Chrysler build quality. Look at the body gaps on the front of that car, from the headlamps to the hood to the fenders to the ground effects...Who am I kidding...It wasn't an accident...Just Chrysler.
