Mercedes has had power adjustable headrests since the 80s. My 1987 190D 2.5 has adjustable headrests, but only up/down. They are manually adjustable on the top to get more less angle, like on regular cars.

These are different times. I used to dislike the Veyron, but I have learned to love it along with old Bugattis. They share little more than a name but examples of each period are masterpieces of engineering. Bugattis of old were raw and visceral, others were luxurious. Today cars at any price level but especially the

That 240D auto is a dog, but would still be a lot of fun. Man, If I lived near Austin, I would be all over that. My father has a 1983 240D with the 4 speed that needs a lot of work, and for $700 it looks like that auto 240D is a great deal. Austin is just too far from Atlanta.

Here's what I propose: start with a nice old simple, reliable diesel car that can handle occasional injections of raw, pure assfat. Something like a Mercedes-Benz 300D (or 300TD, for those speed demons that like to hit 60 in insane sub-minute times). We'll give it a standard biodiesel conversion, with fuel heaters and

I live in America and we tow our cars with our 2003 Dodge (rebadged Mercedes) Sprinter. It has a tow rating of 5000lbs, but will tow more than that with ease. When we bought a 1987 Mercedes 190D and towed it back to Atlanta from Gainesville, Florida, early this year, we had the van loaded down with stuff and the 190D

For me, it was the Tesla Model S. In pictures and in car videos, it always looked kinda bland/meh-tastic, but living in Atlanta, I happen to see so many of them and them actually look quite stunning.

This. I have a friend that is a big GM/Toyota/Honda fan boy and hates everything European. One night he began telling me about how the Germans can't brag anymore because the "twin turbo PUSHROD ls7 Corvette v8 accelerates the Hennessey Venom GT from 0-265.7 mph faster than the w16 quad turbo engine in the Veyron" and

I have a '87 190D 2.5 (not the turbo unfortunately) that came with most available options and it's sticker price was almost $29k. I would say mid-30s sounds about right for the 2.3-16.

Britain holds a dear place in my heart due to the connections my ancestors had to it, but imagine the multitude of vehicles that would be present at a gathering of all American-made vehicles. It would make the gathering in this episode look miniscule and silly.

Damn DOT standards.

Even worse is the brown one

An eyesore that came in some otherwise beautiful cars (XJ6/12/6c/12c)

Unconfirmed reports say that the United States and Russia are now in a new Space Race to shatter vials of urine on Mar's surface.

Priests should all own 500 Abarth cabrios. Cheap, stylish, fun to drive, Italian, perfect for the streets of Rome, and I'm sure Fiat could make a pope box attachment to put on if Pope Francis needs a ride.

My uncle has an 88 Porsche 930 Turbo that he bought new and which he has kept in showroom condition; It is probably one of the nicer ones in the states. I have ridden in it on multiple occasions well above the speed limit, but I don't think he would agree that it is a difficult car to drive. I have no doubt that it is

The engine in the Mahindra is quite likely based on the Mercedes OM616, just like in your 240D and my father's 240D, but bored out to 2523cc from the 2399cc of the OM616. Mahindra sources many of its engines from Mercedes, as do other Indian manufactures such as Force which for sure still makes OM616 powered SUVs,

I really want to like the P1. It looks unique, it will be a good performer, and it is a feat of engineering, but that sound is what messes it up for me. No, I'm not saying it sounds bad, I just don't think it sounds special. It's a top-tier hyper car, but it sounds not much different from every other turbo V8.

I wouldn't go with either, but instead a much greater wedge, an MK1 MR2.

Just because it had low miles doesn't mean it was well taken care of. They and the w123/w124 mercedes are known for reliability, but if you buy a lemon, you can go into massive debt and later depression trying to make it right.

I too would get an MR2. It's too bad America didn't get the Mr2 GT or GT-S from Japan, 220hp in the 2nd gen 3sgte and 245hp in the 3rd gen 3sgte. The braking distance from 60 in this video was longer than I expected it to be. I know that the 93+ MR2 had bigger brakes and was supposed to be one of the best braking cars
