I’ve been using this vertical trainer for about a year. So far, so good!

Also, I’d love to use Google Photos to a greater extent, but the uploading process from my desktop kills bandwidth on the router.
I haven’t pulled the trigger on auto-uploading. But I’ll try again with Dropbox. When I first tried it, I don’t think it worked in the background. Is there a way to know status of the uploads?
Keep an eye out for local organizations who facilitate group buying. We have the “Solarize Syracuse”. If X number of people sign up, the install price goes down by Y%. They take care of much of the paperwork too.
A vertical suspension trainer is the perfect lunchtime office training tool. My fitness level fell off the map after a few months of parenting our 2nd child. Work was the only way I could get a workout in. I just hook this up on an unused doorway in the back. I try to workout just 10-20 minutes; don’t want to break a…
Another important skill - garage sale shopping. We spent very little money on retail clothing. It gets harder when they start having an opinion, but we’re still going strong with our almost 3 year old. You find the right sale, you can really clean house and have a few years worth of clothes for $50-$100.
This book is a great shower gift!
I’d add this to baths - “you don’t need to bathe every day” and “try a shower”.

My big concern is picasa. Will they play nice together?
I was hoping to use the new(ish) chrome user functionality to create a “shopping” user so these extensions are only turned on when I pick that user. Unfortunately, I can’t sync the settings unless I create a new google user. I wish the user functionality allowed for aliases. I’d have a shopping one, a web design one,…
I'm in my 30s and love sprint workouts. I like to ladder my sprints. 3 100, 2-3 200, 1-2 400, 2 200,2-3 100. Haven't done them in a while and I really miss them. 200 is the perfect distance for me; I can run 100% and leave it all out there. If I do that in a 400, I'll puke. Ha.
I'm guessing you watch Honest Trailers as well? Hilarious. I used to watch Cinema Sins religiously until the videos starting getting longer ...8 min...and longer...12 min...and longer....19 min. Cinemas Sins and Honest Trailer are the only watch to watch Amazing Spidey, Green Lantern, and TF movies.
Lately, I've been sabotaging my IF with coffee with cream and sugar. It doesn't do the body good - I get a little shaky when I workout at noon. It can bring on the hunger pangs.
I love the sub-blogs. What we need now is a combined RSS feed. Subscribing to LH + the sub-blogs means I see a ton of repeat items.
It remains to be seen how many years we can keep it up. A few parents in our circle have had similar no present decrees. My daughter doesn't miss them yet since she's only 2, and she doesn't really know what they are.... we never buy her anything when we're out and about. Xmas is very low key.
Looking to avoid gifts all together? Offer up a "book exchange". First bday party, we requested no gifts but still had a bunch. 2nd party we did the same but said people could bring a book, take a book. Worked like a charm. Lots of new books, unloaded ones we don't want (ha), and no pile of plastic crap.
Evernote's OCR is great because you can photograph recipes from borrowed cookbooks and search them. I tag all produce in the recipes so when I have an abundance, I can easily find a recipe for it.
I don't trust the tv/blu ray apps will be updated. Hulu has incentive to keep apps up to date. And those tv/blu ray apps are so incredible sluggish and clunky to use.
Quality can also vary by size within a company. Two years ago I bought 8x10 and 4x6 from either shutterfly or snapfish and the 8x10 was fantastic while the 4x6 were mediocre.
