A surprising amount of time making AAA games goes to creating art assets and set pieces...a small team could use the art and set pieces already created for the Syndicate/XCOM remakes, and use them in their own game. Hell, you could probably even use the same game engine with a few tweaks.

Luke, you're not alone - fellow Aussie here, and I just picked up pretty much the same rig, only with dual 560 Ti's...and although I justified it a million ways, it was for Battlefield 3. Now i'm just counting down the days until EB ships my copy to me our here in Longreach.

What doesn't make sense is that the Xbox 360 code for ANY game should be easily portable to Windows, considering it's based on the same architecture.
