Yeah, I'd love to toss an AAN into the 80, but god knows that's a job and a half. The electrical witchcraft required alone... *shudders*

Still, I've a buddy up north with a working 7A just gathering dust in the corner of the shop and he's told me that if my NG ever bites the dust, he'll give it to me for $100 plus

I hope Bernie lets Biebs take a test drive in something.

"Good question."

There was a definite incline, so he was still protected against the blast.

More valves = more gunk over time. :-P

Nah, to be honest I just had a brain fart and for some reason thought the 20V only had about 10 more horsepower than the NG. Lesson learned? Don't try and quote horsepower figures when you just got home from a party involving haphazardly-concocted mixed drinks. My bad.

Honestly

Accounting for age. Cars lose a noticeable chunk of horsepower over the course of 20 years. A completely refreshed and rebuilt 7A? Yeah, 164hp is no problem. But one that's 20 years old? Even with regular maintenance and care, it's going to lose some ponies. Even so, I admit I may have pegged it a bit too low. Maybe

I'm sure I'll have more questions later on, but for right now, all I want to know is this:

How do I get your job!?

Yeah, I'm beginning to think that myself. I'm holding off on injectors, as I plan on just saving up the bigger chunk of cash to convert it to EFI and I'll get injectors for that instead.

It's really a toss-up to which is most active at the time. Each board has its peaks and lulls. As far as performance support? 034 Motorsports is pretty much the last word on custom Audi parts. My advice? Make a new bookmarks folder and bookmark anywhere and everywhere that has the parts or answer you're looking for.

I need to do a video like that with Herr Quattro as some point.

Mine seems to really grab the torque curve at about 3,500rpm, but it's a fairly smooth leadup instead of being a sudden surge. It's pretty meaty right up until about 5,500rpm, at which point it beings to wind out and feel a bit weezy. Overall I'd say it's

VW vortex is always a first stop, along with fourtitude, audifans, audiworld, and audi-forums. The B3 generation, which is what mine is, has a dedicated following, but they're not the most active. It may take a few days to a week to get the answers you're looking for on some boards, but in general everyone is super

So the gist I'm getting is that for Memorial Day weekend this year we should...not....buy....trucks...?

Oooh, ok. I wasn't aware the pass-through was unique to the FWD 90. And obviously the 90 is an honest car as well- I never meant to imply otherwise. The B3 80/90 sedans are the ultimate underappreciated automotive siblings. =D

Well, it's unexpectedly reliable.

What is my favorite honest car? As in a car that is exactly what it appears to be and nothing else?

Jesus. It sounds like compressed ex-wife rage!

He should be. Sadly I paid him $10 for a couple dozen of them. :-P

No. The fucker wanted to poke holes in my car.
