Some of the Mario Maker “rage face” thumbnails were definitely clickbait. Also, lets players like Game Grumps have fans who are mostly 10-15 years old and will watch and praise literally anything they put out so they don't need to rely on clickbait.

This is exactly how I feel. I would rather them make a game where you play as Zelda than just switch Link’s gender. That just seems lazy and I don't see why people would be happy with that.
