I'm mainly a console guy, so this isn't me just being butthurt, but... couldn't this happen to consoles too? Even for games without dedicated servers running matches, what about the servers relaying all the other information?
Am I the only one who despises this show?

The whole problem is that there's too much traffic and that absorbs all of the bandwidth; the whole reason most companies take their servers offline, entirely, is to do some kind of security modifications so that way when they bring them back up the servers aren't immediately paralyzed by all of the traffic again.
Why do people do this? What agenda does it serve to take down a games servers? So dumb
