Fighting games, action games, brawlers and platformers all had a strong presence on the PC long before the Playstation and Xbox consoles came to the market.

You mean rich people? lol. No, i will stick with the PC platform as my main platform, which is the true master race. Nice try trying to make it look less impressive with an old PC next to him, when its actually one of the most powerful PC on the market. lol

What's even more surprising is the emergence of Mac gaming. Half of my entire Steam library has Mac-supported analogues, and I've been playing games on my Mac while waiting for my new PC to come in the mail. I fundamentally feel you've gotten this backwards. If you go back that far in time, then multi-platform releases in general were a dead area.
