I bought mine for like $40 last summer. Newegg and better shipping but Amazon I think will have a good price. But yes do buy more ram. It needs it something bad. I'm surprised you ran Win7 on the 1gb.

My eee Pc 1000he (similar architecture) still runs fine after 3 years of use. I installed a fresh (legal) copy of Win7 which slowed it down a bit, added 2 gb of ram (total) and turned off all the fun display features and it works very well as a single task machine. I cannot really run Netflix and anything else…
