It's probably just the area I'm in but the Best Buy's usually have a better stock of games than Gamestop, except if it's a used game but I usually just avoid those like the plague.

They have expressed interest in adding a 3D video recording option on the 3DS, so it's possible if they release it. (As long as it uses a standard format and not some proprietary format)

The red 3DS and the release of Star Fox 64 3D (God I hate that name) and some from OOT are definitely the cause for the sale surge. I don't expect the 3DS to really take off until around the holiday season when some good games are coming up and more likely to spend money on games

I don't really see this as an issue, new tv's are being made with only hdmi input, and on top of that every hd tv I've seen has hdmi input. It might be an issue for some people, but people that really care about hd have a tv with hdmi input and use a hdmi cable.

Honestly I haven't played or seen a game on any smartphone that is actual good or anywhere near as fun as "actual" games. (Excluding Plants vs. zombies, but thats on just about everything)
