I pretty much agree with this assessment. Outside of characters eating it, you could predict everything from the onset. The animation was tolerable.

This is an excellent write-up. People coming forward to tell their stories, and how games helped them cope, definitely helps me feel more...empathic (I think is the word I’m looking for) toward others. You never know who is behind the other controller.

Most definitely. Even the idea is a total bust, trying something a bit out there is always interesting to keep an eye on.

That’s why I say it’s an interesting design choice. Definitely throws you for a loop. And being an early access game, it’s what you bought into.

On one hand, this is a cool approach to have the game just assign a character to you and go with it. On the other, I know I play these open world survival games to sorta place an idealized avatar of myself in the game world to well, play as myself.

I feel like I should have known that detail. Thanks. I own everything, so it doesn't effect me too much...That being said, short sighted on Capcom’s part I think. Take money from a sole publisher/company to make it exclusive, or spend extra and port it to both consoles, increasing revenue.

I still think it’s a shame it’s not headed to Xbox One. I wonder if Capcom is seeing how this plays out on PS4, and then is going to pull a switcheroo, and bring it over to XOne.

I shall remain cautiously optimistic. But it looks alright so far. Outside of the Gundam, the mecha designs look pretty generic. Also, I can never get over that anime militaries always eat things out of bowls. Like, never heard of MREs? (or similar substitute).

This is so stupid. It’s a period game. It’s mostly historically accurate. I understand the cultural sensitivities with that flag, but those same people are cool playing as the ships themselves? Stupid stupid stupid.

They where previewing this at Anime Expo this year. I knew I should have stood in that insane line....

I thought the ending to the show while it made me happy, was a bit of a cop-out to squeeze a “good” ending in there. I’d argue that’s my only major complaint though. I look forward to seeing the movie....whenever that is.

I’m still trucking along as an IFT in these bad boys over at VX-30 at NAS PT Mugu, California. Granted they are mishmash Alpha and Bravos, they are still humming (or vibrating violently) along.
