Yeah - I have a friend who I’ve flat out heard plan her family this way. She needed her time out of the workforce to be condensed.

Wow you sound like a bit of a dick. You’ve assumed there was no physical abuse or cheating (and as Rapunzel clarified, there was loads of cheating!), because, what, that never happens? And there’s a huge difference between compromising in a relationship and settling for someone incompatible, horrible, or abusive. The…
Okay, yikes, a lot of assumptions happening here.
Speaking as someone who went through something very similar (I was only engaged to the guy when his wife and I found out about each other, but still), thank you. One of the things that made the whole thing so hard on me was finding out after the fact just how many people knew he was a sociopathic sack of shit and…
You, are funny. People think their tips are going to the employees. You KNOW they would not tip if they knew the truth. This is stealing.
Again, the same situation happens to men sometimes, right? Man makes active decision to get woman pregnant, woman gets pregnant and then decides she doesn’t want to be married to man any more, moves in with another man and starts the family with him instead. We wouldn’t prevent that from happening, nor should we. Why…
She made an active decision to have their embryos frozen, but she absolutely did not make the decision to have her eggs used by Loeb to create a family with another woman.
Even then, I think bodily autonomy should still trump. The mother (or surrogate) doesn’t have to consent to have foreign substances introduced into her body. In the frozen embryo case everything is third-party.
I mostly agree, but think the argument is a slippery slope. Could a man feasibly demand that his partner gets an abortion because he doesn’t want to be a father or is that different because it’s an invasive procedure?
Should a woman who’s no longer able to have children have her embryos taken away because her former partner no longer wants them?
THIS, oh my god this! Like, I get all sorts of updates and posts about people’s lives that I find uninteresting. Oh, you’ve been to Thailand for the millionth time. Ooh look, here’s you drunk at a wedding of someone I don’t know. Here’s your pet—again. People are pretty much dull whether they have kids or not. Why…
Once a month? That’s hardly even enough to notice.
I don’t get it. FB is where you share your life and interests, right? So why does a major part of my life have to edited out because someone has a problem? Is there a committee I need to run my status updates by just so I can get approval before posting? Right now I am a SAHM and I’m lonely, and I’m isolated and I’m…
My cousin posts
Although, I don’t think I have ever heard of that condition in the US, even after being pregnant twice. I’m not disputing its existence, maybe just its publicity.
My aunt “has” Morgellons. I “had” something similar in 2010. I was obsessed with ingrown hairs, to the point that I believed I had almost twice as much hair as I actually had, but it was ‘trapped’ under the skin of my scalp and therefore I had to free it with my fingernails. I waxed all the skin off my chin because I…
A Walmart spokesman says that the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription because she “believed that it was not medically indicated because it wasn’t FDA-approved” for miscarriage management
In their dream world they are assuming that people would be desperate enough to cut their lawn for a dollar rather than build guillotines.
Ewwww, all but a handful of those names are so unfuckable. Maybe it’s just because I only know them as 3yo names, because it’s 2015, but I cannot imagine taking off Brayden’s pants, unless it’s to change his diaper.
