@JasonChen What is Love?

@The5thElephant: Android will be at the same point when the hardware capabilities are so far advanced that optimizing specifically for a revision won't be an issue.

@geolemon: The problem is that Android is free and completely open-source.. which puts the hardware manufacturer in position to do whatever they like when implementing it.

@Chernobyl: Except there is.. and the Nexus One is and has been that standard.

@mpanzarino: Except it does run Angry Birds... and it runs it completely fine.

Since when did the "Android Fragmentation" argument go from software revisions to hardware limitations?

Of course it happens right where I live; I didn't expect anything less from a fellow Nebraskan. I'm surprised this doesn't happen every Husker game day in Lincoln.

Sorry Matt.

It's pretty much the HTC Merge for Sprint.

@Ayo: It is inconsequential regarding application development, as the underlying Android system usually remains completely untouched. But I believe it to be a good thing. It just represents the vast amount of people that are distributing ROMs that aren't completely controlled by a specific manufacturer.

@Ayo: Great, and what does the rest of that pie represent?

@gijenny01: If you don't enjoy the bloatware, don't buy the phone. It's pretty damn simple.

Oh Jesus Diaz.

I like it set on fire and thrown out of a very tall building. After you tick me off of course.

@Maave: There's no "rootkit". Gizmodo needs to do some fact checking next time it posts stuff.
