Does New Gods excite anyone?
There’s a Mister Miracle limited series by Tom King out now that is popular and acclaimed. I think focusing on Mister Miracle and Barda would be the way to go in a film. They present a very human tale of two people in a terrible society filled with violent sociopaths who fall in love and find freedom.
