What I found was that new Doctors make more money if they specialize. So there were a few younger Docs who started out as GP but switched to a specialization to make money. The GPs in practice generally fill up fast and aren’t willing or able to accept new patients.
In the New Orleans area, I’ve been doing this dance for close to 20 years. Luckily I’m fairly healthy so it hasn’t been a huge issue just a pain when I actually need a Dr.
The biggest issue I have is finding and or keeping a General Practitioner. I’ve had 4 of them either retire or become specialist. All the rest I’ve looked at are no longer accepting new patients.
Another reason to wait and see where the HTC setup lands price wise.

On a side note can we stop using the term “sharing economy” when money is involved. If you’re paying me to use my car or house or whatever it’s not sharing.
One of my favorite missions in any game was the one to make coffee to sober up your pilot while fending off the Soviet guards.
What’s the justification for being a jet-pilot, do those skills really transfer? What about if I have 2000 hours in a deep sea submersible? Seems like that would be a much better analog to space travel.
