I pushed the power button and watched the machine boot up in silence while glaring at the user. She didn't say a word and I know her co-worked didn't let her off easy once I left, it never happened again.

Having to drive to the site at 3am because the person onsite was to stupid to see that the tower under the desk was powered off. This was after spending a good ten minutes on the phone with them while they swore the power and HDD lights were on.
