The "Walrus man" scene sounds to me like the scene when Obi-Wan chases off the sand people.

The real problem is the storm could start spinning the wrong direction and start sucking the super cold air from the upper atmosphere freezing the earth ... cgi wolves.

Considering that the Vulcans are one of the oldest space going races in Star Trek I would hope they would have a couple of colony planets around their part of the galaxy. Heck given their role in the Federation I would think there would be 10,000 Vulcans just on earth at the time the movie took place.

I find that if your sink trap is easily accessible the best thing is to first just remove the trap and check it first. If the problem is beyond the trap it is going to be a lot easier to run a snake with the trap off.
