There’s a small subset of armor that you can actually modify. Typically, the modification is just to remove the cape on a piece of armor, it has veeeery little effect.

Though, Frenzy and Poison in BB were the two things that were worth doing something to protect against, even a little bit. The difference between having 0 Frenzy rsistance and having even just a bit when running into a Winter Lantern was frequently life and death. And Poison, early on, could just suck away your blood…
