This is one of the worst articles I have ever read. Granted, the Wild did spend a ton of money on them no doubt, but this team is pretty damn close to pushing for a cup this year. Going into game 6 in the semi's against the defending cup champs is nothing to downplay, especially with how well they have played these

If the Rangers post-mortem published on Deadspin after Game 6 of the 1st round is any indication, I can safely assume that the Wild will now both force a Game 7 and then win it from there.

It should also be mentioned that goalie Darcy Kuemper had to leave the game late in the third due to injury, forcing the Wild to put in the highly erratic Ilya Bryzgalov cold.

Based on that performance, the Avs shouldn't have locked up Varlamov. The Denver PD however...

The probabilities probably didn't see Nino Niederreiter coming, though. Already an Islanders castoff at age 21, Minnesota traded away folk hero Cal Clutterbuck for him last summer.

To all you Islanders fans out there: guess who you traded to get Clutterbuck, along with a draft pick?

Yes it was

I know MacKinnon talk is all the rage these days(Parise had as many points and played fantastically both ways), but it should be noted the Wild dominated 6 of the 7 games against the Avs and won the season series against the Blackhawks (though obviously that doesn't mean much in the playoffs....but still) Minnesota is

That was a sweet goal. Awesome series to both teams!

Nino is Swiss for fuck you Norm Green! Go Minnesota.

What. A. Game.

In true Arnold Palmer fashion, it was actually half poop and half pee.

Bonds' 762 should have an asterisk beside it, and that asterisk should reference a note at the very bottom of the list, and that note should read "762 is greater than 755".

Hockey only, but mites on ice between periods is usually more fun than the game itself.

As a Darren Rovell fan, I understand you're joking, but I'm getting sick of all these PFTCommenter fanboys circle-jerking their idiot "humor" at the expense of erudite sports-marketing minds like Rovell. People forget that Rovell led the #Brands to three straight World Series of ad revenue, and the Final Four of

Does this really qualify as a "comment?" How about, nah, you're just an asshole.

I don't subscribe to this. Saying someone should have to either spring for better seats, or shut up and take abuse instead of further antagonizing the morons, is really close to saying "he was asking for it." Even if there are ways to minimize the possibility of trouble, it's no one's fault but the assholes causing it.

Unfortunately for T.C. Bear, this stunt is merely a prelude to four months of choking.
