This is not the first time that one of Cameron’s movies has sounded like an overpriced disaster. Both Titanic and Avatar faced the same kind of pre-release doomsaying as these sequels.

Pre-COVID, I would have bet on Avatar 2 being a smash hit (with the following Avatar movies all hitting diminishing returns. Post-COVID, yikes, “Are we gonna’ make any damn money” indeed.
Didn’t see a single puma in that trailer.
Well said.
Fact of the matter is that cracker is a racial slur. It’s a stupid one mind you, but a racial slur is a racial slur and there should be consequences regardless of what slur is used and what ethic or racial group is the target. With that in mind if someone called me a cracker I would probably break out laughing because…
that shot of master chief towards the very very end just looked liked a posed hot toys action figure.
Haha, nice self-own there! If you want to call someone an idiot, maybe don’t misspell it...
I thought I told you to stop making up animals!
It won’t happen, but I would love to see a Tomb Raider-like game featuring Doctor Aphra.
Unless they were deliberately going for a look like a mid-to-late ‘90's game cutscene, this looks not good.
Looks like there won’t be nearly enough Red vs. Blue in it.
Looks... rubbery.
Whats always felt painfully obvious to me about how Game of Thrones ended is that broad strokes are 100% GRRM, and I strongly suspect his lack of interest in finishing the books has a lot to do with how poorly all of it was received.
“These are all great questions that will be presumably be answered when Martin’s publishes The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring, hopefully within our lifetimes.”
Um, no.
I’m not into it. I understand the premise, and understand how many people are into just only wanting a lot of lightside material. However, for me, the stories of the dark side appealed more to me. I liked reading how people become sith, how Palpatine came to be, Kylo Ren, Vader, etc. I never cared for ‘how did Ben…
Disney hasnt understood starwars properly....ever. They just lucked out the Favreu wanted to do the mandalorian, that Rogue One turned out well, that Filoni was already working on clone wars, rebels. Just doesnt get what makes the universe tick.
I’m trying man. I could not stand the first book. Like, how do 4 people split things 3 ways? And why did a medical frigate, tasked with going from planet to planet, rendering medical aid to many different species, not have any translator droids on it?
This series has become too overwhelming for me and I have to bail out. I like the characters and I like the villains and all, but making this a cross-media event with a billion different spinoffs became immediately exhausting. By the time the second adult book came out, you already had to have consumed so much other…
Is anyone actually ingesting this stuff? I can’t name a single friend that’s into star wars that has read a single book or comic.
