This is definitely an automatic equipped car and it is really quite easy to see what gear one is in.

Empty beer bottle and a funnel. Put beer bottle down in the drain with the garbage disposal (because holds the bottle perfectly). Drain oil/grease into bottle using a funnel. Throw bottle away when it cools.  Repeat as needed.

yup.  pickle jars for me are the best oil disposal solution.

Counterpoint: Old glass jars (pickle, jam, whatever) with lids work better. They won’t melt if your used oil is still hot when you pour it in, and they have a wider mouth.
